Ceci is a UFA at years end and Nylander needs to prove he is a good player and can play with player who are not Tavares or McDavid before Wild trade Dumba on a great deal.

Problem is you are trading cap to a team and taking one of the top 10 RHD in the league.

Ceci is of little value in this trade. I am aware of his UFA status. He is more for cap reasons and to give the Wild another body until year end. The big deal here is Nylander for Dumba. Nylander is one hell of a player but Dumba is more proven and plays a bigger position. So maybe I am short on value here but it's not terribly far off.

Dumba is an allstar, watching him play he really kicked it into gear last year before he was hurt, and hes continued that play this year... Minnesota is also looking at a rebuild or retool and are under no pressure to trade their young best dman... you could probably get sutter

At best it's a lateral move for Dumba. Minni would want to win a trade and do for a total rebuild. So more along the lines of Nylander, Liljegren and Korshov. Minni would have to be sold that the. two AHLers are gonna be good NHLers. Even at that Minni probably have no interest in trading their home grown guy.
