As the Rangers GM (spoiler alert, I'm actually just some random fan) I'd have to think about that. The condition on him resigning would be important but it would also move the pick back to 2021 because Kreider could sign after the draft. Or you make it an additional pick if he resigns. But it shouldn't be two picks if they both make the playoffs and resign him. Well, let's just say there's a chance they could get something done here.

Very good point! I think a multi condition makes sense here. If he signs before the draft, the pick is upgraded. If he signs after the draft, add an additional pick in 2021, probably a late pick.
