Description
Ok you can make the argument that we’re 4-3 when everyone in the league expects us to do bad, but we still have so much more to give with what we got.
First line: is great and I wouldn’t even consider changing it right now. Patty had earned his spot with his play.
2nd line: wingers are very good despite a slow start from KC overall. Nikolaj Ehlers is extremely underrated and is looking like he will get back to his 60 point ways no problem. Copp has done his job but I really want to see rosy get a legitimate shot there. I think he has been great so far.
3rd line: Lowry, Bourque, letustu has been a line that just hasn’t worked out and all and I’m not sure how Paul doesn’t see this. When little comes back Copp-Lowry-little would be an amazing 3rd line in my opinion.
4th line: Gus should be sent down because he won’t be getting a ton of minutes either way so I would say that perrault-Letestu-Appleton would have to be the fourth line.
Call ups up front should be in this order : Suess (can play center), Luoto, Chibisov, spacek, Vesalainen.

1st pair:
Morrissey- Niku would form an outstanding pair in my opinion, I have no clue how Maurice thinks Sami is worse then guys like Bitetto.
2nd pair: I’ve actually like how Kulikov has played so far. Neal pionk has surprised me, I’ve really like what he’s done so far.
3rd pair: when Beaulieu comes back he should slot in the lineup over Bitetto and Dahlstrom. Dahlstrom hasn’t done bad but compared to what Nate did last year I think he is the better player. Tucker Poolman would help form a somewhat responsible pairing.
Call-up options: Heinola (if he goes to the moose), Nogier, stanley, bitetto.

Goalies: I’m not gonna lie I had doubts about helle but there is no question as of right now that he is the clear cut number 1 option on this team.
Call up option: Berdin

Minutes wise I may slot niku there, but I would attempt to get all three rd similar min on ice, where on ld I believe morrissey should get substantially more than the similar number that kulikov and beaulieu get. If that makes any sense, as far as forwards, I think the team doesn’t quite have the 4 line ability it used too, so more playing the hot hand at 2C between roslovic and copp and loser finds min where he can, I think pearrault Lowry little could be a kind of a interesting 3 line and Letestu and Bourque warming the pine

I’ve honestly like what Maurice has done this season. If you think about it, he has rewarded the players that are doing well and has punished those who do not. For expample, roslovic continues to see an uptick in minutes and Laine has been moved to the first line. On the contrary he has decreased ice time for the Lowry lien form 15 mins a game to 9.

As for defence I would switch kulikov and beaulieu for one reason: clearing the net. Kulikov and pionk would be disastrous at it if they were paired together while beaulieu clears the net effectively.

As for niku, he has been sent down to nurse his groin injury which has been reaggravated. Maurice know that thsi team is better with him in.

Own think I’m having about Maurice is that he is playing bitetto and letestu over heinola and gustavsson. Like the team is better with the latter and it’s better for their development

People expect the Jets to do bad because they are dumb and overreact to what has happened most recently.

The team is in general well built.

High quality starting goalie? Check

Stud #1c? Check
Likely best wingers in the league? Check

Good C DEPTH? Check

Weakness? Lack of 2 C (been a weakness for years)
Rd: you have pionk, he's a fine #4. You have Niku who has high upside but young.

LD: Morrisey rocks, but it thins out pretty quick.

However with a good goaltender and your offense there is no reason to expect bad things

Why would you ever want a line of Copp-Lowry-Little
when you could have Perreault-Copp-Little?
