Split Risto and Gardiner on 2 different pairs and you'll double your chances to go far!

With your team, I'd place players this way.
Huberdeau - Domi - Mantha
Laine - Necas - Arvidsson
Neal - Backlund - Shaw

Suter - Cernak
Gardiner - Doughty
Guhle - Risto

I think this team might reach 2 round or maybe 3rd if healthy. Miss one forward leader IMO, and I don't think Varlamov is the right guy to go far in playoffs.

I agree with your decision of splitting up Mantha and Laine cause there's only one puck to be shot. Arvidsson is also a high-volume shooter but I feel like they'd figure it out better. Also good idea to put Ristolainen on the 3rd pair.

As for how far? I don't think they come close to making the playoffs. Top 10 draft pick next year

I would go with a fringe playoff team, t\he defense looks stellar, but the team lacks a solidified true 1C and the goaltending seems it cant be trusted too much. I think the team just slips in and out (thats what she said) of a wildcard spot every year
