Brodin would improve LHD right away...
and Koivu would help to get in the playoff this season...
I don't think MTL need Suzuki with the actual center line we do have and having Caufield ready for next season... I personnaly think Evans would be better in 1-2 years than Suzuki

You have overvalued Brodin significantly. Trading a cost controlled asset in Suzuki is mind boggling especially for a 36 year old UFA. Not to mention you are throwing in Tatar a perennial 20 goal scorer. This trade sacrifices the future for a D man who never realized his potential and an old man. No to mention the Habs need Tatars goals if they want to make the playoffs.

All of that I agree: Koivu Tatar Suzuki and I am ready to live with it... but I though that Brodin was GREAT... or at least GOOD (better than all the option that MTL haves)
So my bad if I have overevaluated Brodin.

Brodin is good but not exceptional, his stats are a little off since the team he plays on is bad all round but he doesn,t bring enough offence to help the Habs right now

OK Thanks, I look at tomorrow game closely and see how he plays... and watch him 3-4 time last season and he impressed me.
