Give Anaheim someone better, and then give Matthews a better winger...trade Nylander with the other 2 and play Matthews with Hall.

Hall and probably Dermott and Mikhaiyev (depending on his season) all reject, and that ANA trade is laughable, you're asking them to trade from a position of weakness (or really just lack of depth) and you're hardly giving them anything... Kap and Hyman are middle 6 wingers, I'd do Richie and mid-late pick for Hyman... Ritchie is younger with some upside, less expensive and isn't a rental, and I'd give up a second and B spec or mid pick for Kap... So you're trading a 4th and some marginal value differences for a top pairing guy on a great contract... Oh and you're asking for retention too...

Leafs have plenty of good cost efficient wingers. Forgot Hall, if the Leafs have cap, spending on a need like defence.
