I just cannot get a gauge on what people think Risto's value is. Maybe because it varies so much.
But he's the most obvious piece on the block for Buffalo, so I'll keep trying to find something that makes sense.

But seriously, Turris is on pace (albeit, it's early days) to have a season like he used to have in Ottawa, which was pretty good. It's even more likely if he finds a place that's the right fit. And Buffalo needs a 2C.

MarJo has been a good 2C so far, i wound focus on a top 6 winger

We could get better for less, people thought we should give them Okposo for turris...

Nashville is going to have to give up an asset to get someone to take on Turris' contract...maybe they can get a mid round pick if they retain money.

The only people who hate on Risto do not watch Sabre games and/or think their going to get risto for pennies on the dollar. Regardless of Risto's value, Botterill is not going to put himself in a situation to lose badly on a trade again

I'm a Leaf fan and watched Risto for years . It's been tough on Risto logging that many minutes on a bad team, so sometimes he looks bad. Same with lots of Dmen on bad teams. But as the team improves, so will Risto. I don't understand all this distain for Risto. IMO he is and certainly can be a quality RHD. I agree with you. Sabres have no reason to trade him unless they get a good return.

I agree I'd keep Okposo over Turris. I was comparing them and Okposo's ppg and p60 are better than Turris's. Plus Okposo is doesn't hurt as much.

Risto probably doesn't actually get traded unless a team really impresses Botterill with the offer. An older center on a bad contract isn't the return that would get him to pull the trigger. Tolvanen on the other hand....
