Unfortunately I don't see Turris making the ducks better. He's 30, a 6 mil contract for 5 more years, and has been lacking his goal output. I won't say this often, but I would prefer to have Ritchie.
I think if Cody Ceci was available for a 5th Round Pick. we would be putting that offer in now.

Also as a general rule, we cant buyout during the season, nor can we buy out 2 more people after Perry. Holzer and Grant can just be waived and sent down.

Why would we want to waive Derek Grant? He's been the most effective fourth-liner I've seen on any team this year.

Turris and guys like him are the last kind of player Anaheim should be looking for. What the Ducks need is another top-flight RhD. The youngsters (Comtois, Steel, Kase, Jones, Lundestrom, Terry) will learn how to score. Groulx, Zegras and Tracey are on the horizon. We don't need forwards. We need a better defense.

I wouldn't want to, I'm just saying that would be the correct alternative instead of buying him out, since that's what was shown above.
Grant is easily one of the most consistent guys on the team. He plays his best hockey in anaheim. Sign the dude up a few more years.
