Gotta be honest value was better than I figured. I suspect they'd want a bit more. More Dobson or Wahlstrom then bode. But if they can't get that I see them circling back for an offer like this.

Fwiw though I think you're underestimating the difficulty at trading Boychuk. You have him scratched. He has 2 more years at 6 million.

Which is why this trade won’t happen. I wouldn’t trade either one of them straight up for hall with an extension

Smart call, someone will give up a haul for Hall, who will sign a massive extension that takes him well past his prime
