It would probably be a first and maybe a better prospect or Bjugstad? but he is a career 50 point guy even if he is their best forward.

don't know if pens would part with him but seems even for both teams. something else would have to be added on pens side to even cap.

What do points have to do with anything? Guy is a top 12 (maybe even top 10) RW.

He's an excellent play driver and he's no slouch defensively too

well actually points has a lot to do with the trade value of a player.

Simon, Rust, Riikola, 2nd for Gallagher.

Riikola is nothing value wise. Simon is nearly nothing (Crosby just likes him). Gallagher is more than the sum of his stats.

So the deal is Rust, 2nd and stuff for Gallagher. That's just not going to do it. You need to consider Gallagher's value more along the line of whatever you consider ... Guentzel as. Would you trade Guentzel for Rust, 2nd and stuff?
