Aaah, we don't mind. Ducks looked good against Buffalo. After the Sabres scored their second goal in the opening period, Anaheim outplayed your team for the rest of the game. Now you see why we're going to rely on our youngsters and will be loath to trade any of them.

FYI, I'm pretty sure the lines Eakins used last night were Comtois-Getzlaf-Kase, Rakell-Henrique-Silfverberg, Jones-Steel-Terry, and Ritchie-Grant-Rowney.

In the last few days I had several exchanges with Buffalo fans who kept denigrating Henrique and Silfverberg as "too old" and "soon to be useless." Not yet.

I kind of always wanted to see Jones-Steel-Terry. Jones and Steel kind of seemed like the Getz-Perry situation. They were drafted the same year and seemed like they were drafted to play together. Jones and Terry are good friends and seem to have good chemistry, And I think as a line they played some of their best hockey this season last night.

And the Henrique line was absolute fire last night. People forget that Henrique has always been an offensive weapon, but hes always asked to play a 2 way game. He got to play offense last night and it showed.
