I don't think there is any way the devils don't get a first out of any Hall trade. This years draft is supposed to be good, and I think that a first or a top choice in the two previous drafts are the starting points of any Hall trade.

Honestly that was just pathetic.

Stone as a rental cost VGK Brännström, an A-prospect, and a 2nd rounder. Hall is more likely to cost more as there's not many rental stars in the market.

Broberg+2nd or Bouchard+1st is more realistic.

I mean Stone signed like a week after being trade, doesn't really sound like a rental transaction they were probably just working out the money details

The price for Karlsson as a 1 year rental (at the time) was a 3C, top 6 D, 2 B+ prospects, a 1st, and 2 2nds (one with a 1st round condition) and everyone thought they didn't get enough. So yeah you gotta go way higher for a former MVP in Hall.

Doesn't make much of a difference.

Honestly don't even understand why EDM would consider acquiring Hall. He's going to be way too expensive for them to keep him.

Yeah right now he should get more than Duchene got (as a rental).

1st + b prospect + c prospect + conditional 1st on resigning.

If it includes and extension, Bouchard + 2nd would probably be the starting point
broberg would also be in consideration and picks are really TBD depending on Halls season-- i get he was MVP 2 years ago but he was injured last year and who knows if he will 100% rebound from it.

Stone cost an A-prospect which was Brannstrom, a 2nd and a bottom 6 winger who was probably just a contract dump for Vegas. The Oilers would be making a huge mistake trading either of Broberg or Bouchard for a rental, wouldn't be wise to deal their 2020 1st either but that's what it'd take.

It makes a huge difference, was Vegas really gonna trade Brannstrom for a rental, possibly but highly unlikely.
