It’s awful. Something needs to be done. Obviously ntc would have to be waived and maybe something smaller needs to be added for one or the other but I think They’re pretty close.

FLA (Dale Tallon and all of management) needs to be careful. Q has ZERO issue benching Matheson. Matheson has never taken care of the puck that well...I'll admit I haven't seen much of them play this year, but if it's anything like last year...expect some dog house treatment.

Yeah but is that really gonna help him. He’s young and for some reason isn’t progressing well on this team. That’s why I’d trade him and package him for someone else that is better.

I agree with what you're trying to do. Specifically to answer that question....NO, it's not going to help him. Q doesn't care. Look at Nick Leddy. Traded. Look at Eric Gustafsson...Spent 2 season in Rockford only to show that he can score 55 points in 65 games under Colliton. I think Q is indeed one of the best coaches in the game, but there's virtually zero leash for young Dmen to make mistakes...develop into better Dmen while doing so. It's his single biggest flaw.

Very true. I think what’s best though is trading him for some sort of package like above and not getting a young guy that needs more development.
