Radulov is 33 how much longer can he produce. Signed for 3 more years. Sheary can get u 50 points playing in their top 6 for half the price. Meanwhile we are trading you a 24 year old dman who has been one of the best 5x5 dman for sabres this year.

Hes there to protect the assets. Not like hes any worse than Sobotka, and Reaves does Sobotka's given role much better than Sobotka could ever imagine

Reaves has 4 more goals and 2 less points than Sobotka since Sobotka came back from the KHL. If they want a physical presence to make space for Johansson and Skinner, Reaves is much better at that role than Sobotka and he produces comparative to him

Yes Sheary had 50+ points when he played in the top 6. He plays good two way game and can finish around the net. He plays on third line for the sabres.

Meanwhile Radulov is old and will not produce at the same rate for long, He is not worth a 24 year old RHD.
