It's hard to imagine the thought process that arrives at a conclusion that the Anaheim trade is remotely approaching what might laughingly be called in polite company "fair." Ondrej Kase plays on Anaheim's first line with Ryan Getzlaf, and you think he's good enough to play on your second line with Evgeni Malkin (once he returns). So how is the equivalent of three fifth-round picks (because that's what Gudbranson and Aston-Reese are worth independently) a reasonable return for him?
