if domi keeps up his play from last year you'll be paying more than 6.75 for him especially on an 8 year term

buddy if u think that in 2021 that suzuki is a 3rd line player, than u need to reevlauate ur line up. petry, danault, weal, lindgren will get traded. none of these guys (maybe danault) get resigned. folin is gone too

I wouldn't say poehling at less than 2.5. you hope that your young guys develop well and he's off to quite the start (3g in 1gp). you never know, but if I had to guess, I'd say >2.5M for sure

agreed the whole idea of revamping your team to being a young talented team is keeping those vets until their contracts are done as mentors and then having your developed young guys take those bigger roles. If those opportunities aren't there for those guys they'll never develop into the caliber of player that MTL needs them to become, and the team will never be as good as MTL wants it to be

i agree, but again, this roster is 3 seasons from now. things change. guys grow older and gain more experience. there no point in keeping a 32 year old jeff petry for long term. trade him for good value down the road and don't sign him

yes I think at the deadline if playoff chances aren't looking great that'd be smart

People seem to hate Price these days
they just love him getting ****ed up

Chiarot's the first guy since Murray i can remember who will send a message before they run Price.

Every D since including Weber and Petry stand by until Price is on the ice hurt and still dont fight 9/10 or send a message .

Brady Tkachuk tries to take a run at Price
Chiarot puts him down hard and lets him know he doesnt give a crap who he is
if you run Price you're going to hit the ice hard and fast with Chiarot standing over you .

Chiarot lead All MTL D tonight in Ice time and Price gets the Shutout
Hmmmmm...... It Helps have someone who has your back especially when he's training young Fleury to follow suit

Drouin is on 3rd line now . The way the habs are built they won't have a real 1st line to contend but they might have 3 very good second line. I think Bergevin will try signing Petry for 3 years or less.

drouin is at a point per game pace. eventually he'll move up. they will have a real first line with KK Caufield and Suzuki, drouin, domi. this is 3 years from now bud. bergy wont sign petry. he'll trade him

i think Juulsen is Seattle Bound
Honestly i'll miss him but if giving him up allows us to protect Mete or Fleury then we will

With Fleury Thriving at the NHL , Brook is adjusting to the AHL well and we cant forget about Primeau's Rock in NCAA who's out to a Point Per Game Sophmore year it looks like this injury timed with the expansion has made him odd man out .i Doubt we move Weber to make room for him but on the bright side he can play close to home out on the west coast .

Caufields 2nd in NCAA Goals already
if he has another great Junior Tournament this Winter he could be up sooner then later.

    he's the future #1 RW

Our future top Center is a 3 way race right now as all over achieve defying limitations people set on them .

Our LW on the other hand has a bunch of good middle 6 players but no clear cut #1 LW .
that being said we got Drouin who is growing and still just 24 as well as Domi who's the same age who will likely be pushed to LW in time .

we need to find ourselves a Comtois type goal scorer for our LW but we need to find him in the Draft so his development will be on pace with the ending of the current LW's contracts allowing us to build up a solid depth for summer 2021 when half our roster needs contracts on 32m .(otherwise we'll run into another cap situation like this come 2024 )
