I wouldn’t mind seeing this for a game or two when little gets back to ease him back into the lineup. I do think however that once he’s back up to speed he’ll take the 2c spot again, unless rosy really blows maurices socks off, even if he does who knows. Maurice has made some dumb choices. I agree on heinola. Although I wouldn’t mind if Maurice Implemented some system where he plays one then sits one and just rotates like that. He could use some time in the weight room and that rotation would allow for that. Just like Stamkos in his first year.

I hope the blueline gets healthy fast, and they ship him home, go dominate shorter schedule, more weight room, world juniors, and come back to slot in right behind morrissey for next decade, sacrifice now for future, just my opinion. He’s good enough, but I’m a firm believer in kids dominating at a young age, to maximize growth. But always a few that can pull off the truck at 18

So a player (ville) is better then over half your and the jets of course think they are a contender but you’re more worried about burning a year off his ELC is just bad management..

This team is in no way a contender, yes at this point saving year of his ELC is more important.

Also Niku is only down with the Moose till his groin injury is healed and then he'll be back up, he's very similar to Heinola and there's nothing left for him to do at the AHL level, is there really any point having both of them on the team? Plus Morrissey, Pionk, Niku and Heinola would be a tiny group of defensemen... Lol... And Heinola is so very small, he needs to go home and put some meat on his bones, if he gets crunched by Reaves or Wilson people will be whining that he should've been sent home. This team needs Buff back more than anything else.

Yeah no doubt he's better then those two but idk, I just don't see what the rush is with a tiny 18 year old defenseman. This team has more issues then it's defense, it should be painfully obvious that they have huge systems issues that are costing them goals, they likely need a coaching staff overhaul more then they need help on the back end.
