Don't you think Killorn's NTC crushes any deal to the Devils?

I think that 11M is a mistake .. Tampa only team with such a big difference from Cap now .. and Cap at TDL ..

Killorn wont waive for the NJD, And way too much for Tampa to give up. No way they can afford Hall long term. He wants at least 7 x 11.5 and he wont sign for less just because of the cheap Florida taxes.

Killorn has to submit a 16 team list come next season.. so it's possibly he can be traded since his cap hit of 4.5m is what teams have been paying players on non-elc that put up 40 points. A team I could see him traded to is Carolina. I could see a three team trade where whatever asset you get for him is flipped to Jersey, but idk if he'll accept a trade to NJ this year.

As for not being able to resign Hall, it has absolutely nothing to do with taxes (although every player does shave off a bit to go to a non-tax state, 10.5 isn't unreasonable in Florida). It has everything to do with cap space. Vas get's a 6m raise, cirelli/joseph/cernak need to be resigned (as does Sergachev but he is included in this deal). Only way this could potentially happen is with a trade of Johnson AND Gourde as well.

As far as the fairness of the trade, it's very fair to both teams. Figure Killorn+Raddysh for Severson and a 1st plus sergachev for rental Hall.. probably the best offer NJ will be able to get.
