If this was at the trading deadline, and Wild appeared to be out of play off contention, then it could be a deal which helps both clubs.

As it stands, I think Zucker is too valuable, as one of the pieces to help turn the Wild’s season around. There is nothing in this trade which would impact the Wild immediately and they would be losing a scorer on a team finding it hard to score.

That’s reasonable. But if Zucker wants a trade, what do you think they would want? Is Minny short on D? Do you think a Larsson + Puljujärvi package would do it? I’m not very knowledgeable on the Wild.

This is the exact reason they should do this trade. Minny is not turning their season around, they were destined for a poor season and are a poorly built team with dry cupboards. They don't need immediate impact players and should finally embrace the imminent rebuild.
