3-Peat question mark

Team Explanation
Been an Avs fan since before I even remember picking a favourite team. I'm just a little bit excited to see the team have some success again. Still early, of course but based on how many mistakes they make in their game and are still winning, the ceiling is very high. Not going to explain everything here so comment all your questions/concerns.

This looks good. I’m scared of Mackinnons next contract. He’s gonna be 13+ especially with the cap rising.

Same here. Especially if (when) he's going to want a similar cap hit percentage to all the big guns (13+%). I don't even know what the cap is projected to be after the expansion. But, Johnson, Donskoi and Compher's contracts are all up at that time as well so there's your 13.4M right there haha.

Wouldn't be surprised if MacKinnon does get 14+. Another thing is I'm not an Avs fan but I do like them a lot, and Landeskog seems like the kinda guy who will take 8m and a team friendly deal. Wouldn't be surprised if they 3pt or 2pt. MacKinnon is elite so is his 2 wingers. If in the Avs I would not sign any big name free agents and just sign role players.

One thing to consider is Mackinnon and Crosby are similar in the fact they arent about the money and just want to win. He'll want more than Rantanen of course but I don't think by too much. I might be dreaming though. Time will tell.

Definitely agree to no signing big free agents. They never pan out. Always too expensive for too long and end up regretting them and have to trade away with assests or buy out. We have our big guys already. Role players are all that is required.

Yep, they could have been something special!
Imagine if they didn't have a child GM with no spine/ and a coach too set in his old-school ways?
