Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

Keep platooning Boychuk and Dobson, but give Dobson more time as we start getting deeper into the season. Not only does that acclimate Dobson but it’s a good way to manage Boychuk’s workload.

Waive/trade Kuhnhackl because he isn’t producing and we don’t need more than one utility guy (Dal Colle).

Keep Wahlstrom up and experiment with him in the top 6. Playing him with Brassard isn’t helping anyone. If things don’t look like they’re working, send him back to Bridgeport. Don’t really expect that to happen though, he’s looked pretty good for a 19 year old.

Send Johnston to the AHL and hope no one claims him. He’s played okay, but is the 14th forward when this team is healthy.

None of this fixes the biggest problems with this team, but it ices, in my mind, the most competitive roster possible for what’s already here.

We both know komarov will never be scratched if hes healthy, but yeah this is an ideal lineup. Loyalty is going to kill this team.

Yeah, I thought it was strange not seeing him last night, but just realized he was sick. Maybe he could go in for Brassard?

Not sure komarov would be any better as a 3C. I would love to see brassard waived and a beau-koivula-komarov line. I only include komarov because I know he’ll never be a healthy scratch
