I don't see why MTL would agree to retain on this.
Backes hit is 6 million. Alzner here is a 4 million cap hit.

You add the fact that Domi needs a new contract and I don't see what the intensive is. They are only sitting on 18 million next year to start with. You take Domi, and a few other signing and that gets whittled down. Then you add 7.625 million on top of it to do this. Hell no. I don't see it. At best it would have to be no retention.

?‍♂️. But the concpet is sound. But I think the Habs entertain it. Yeah, it's a big hit for next year, but then they are pretty much free and clear of Alzner.....
