That’s the last of their needs. Didn’t really need Boyle. The real need is better defenseman.

I agree with that. But I also think you could see Bob on the decline last year. He did not play well last year and he had a great blue line in front of him.
I think FL is going to regret that contract.

They might. But he always starts slow according to his stats. But he’s also a major upgrade over what they had before.

I saw bob play a lot of games over the years for CBJ. I wasn't just a slow start.
To some degree there was speculation he just wanted out of CBJ. He wasn't getting along with the coach or the GM. There was drama. Maybe you could say he was frustrated.
But as you look back on it, and watch his play now with FL, I have only seen 2 games. But he does look off. He's not the same player.

Acciari isn't a 3rd line center. They need a third line center to expand their depth. They already put forth the need for a defenseman in the stralman signing.

He wasn’t playing third line center. Borgstrom was and sometimes malgin. Bonino isn’t what the team needs. Defense is what makes this team from being a top 8 team.

He’s been alright. First couple games were horrible defense turn overs or not covering the guy back door. But lately it’s been some weak ones. Missed the Colorado game but not sure what happened after they were up 4-1.

I don't know, I can only go off what I saw. It was noticeable last year and looks so this year too. He had no excuses last year either. The blue line in front of him was top notch. He had plenty of help in the forwards. It was on him. From what I saw in the 2 games I saw. He let shots he should have stopped in. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I could have stopped them all, but I'm not getting paid 10 million to be a goalie. But a 30 foot shot with no one in front of you, you got to stop that. That's the type of stuff I saw him let in. That can't happen.
