I'd be shocked to see Hall being moved to anything but either a first round pick and/or top prospect. In this case, there's neither coming to NJ.

Especially if they're dealing with division rivals, they'll want high end reward.

For them to give hall to New York, they are going to ask for 2020 1st AND Kravstsov and a youngish roster forward

Plain & simple, you don’t get Hall without giving up a 1st. Too many teams would part with a 1st round pick...and probably several non-playoff teams.

Would certainly kick the tires...but I can easily see the Devils demanding a 2020 1st, either Krav or Miller, and a Buch....as good as Hall is- this would be way too much to give up- and he will be 28 shortly and looking for an 8 year contract...no thanks

Question 1: Why do the devils accept this?
Question 2: Why do the rangers want to do this? Not like they’re a contender, and it’s not like they can extend him.

i mean if he really does want out they might be forced to move him....rather than losing him to free agency they grab 3 nhl ready players and 2 picks....and if rangers let go of those 3 and possibly kreider and smith later they could have room to extend him

I agree if you say it's a rumor you should list the source. If the rumor comes from Eklund or quotes Eklund as the source its not rumor.

The devils get a dozen better offers. Maybe more.

In 2 years the rangers would have over 20 million invested into two 30 year old wingers. Not ideal. The rangers need a 2C and a shutdown defenseman

The Rangers/Devils will never make a trade of that enormity, it could blow up in both the GMs faces

Looks like Friedman said something in his 30, but its for clicks and I think Edm was the team.
Their slow start was an issue, I agree. But they seem to be working it out. They still need to be nastier, they seem very soft. Its started to change a bit so maybe they are on their way.
