Buff remembers his love for the game

Created by: TrueNorth

Description
It was nice seeing Little back in the lineup and I can't help but feeling that their record would have been better after 10 games if he had been in the line-up throughout. Copp-Lowry-Roslovic looked good as a third line.

Hard to complain about defense after a shutout but bringing Buff back would be another major boost to the lineup which would have them a troublesome match-up for any team.

Nice to see u left Heinola out, he looks pretty good on the second line but really want him to go back to Finland and develop with top minutes and pp time... have high expectations for the kid

Heinola is getting all kinds of chances to prove himself which Niku has not been given.

different conditions, last year the blue line was stacked, this year its wide open, niku would be in the top 4 right now easily if it wasn't for his injury

So what's the deal with Heinola? Obviously he burns a year of his ELC if he stays with the jets, but someone was saying he wouldnt if he was with the Moose?
If that's true and he isnt with the big club, I think AHL is the best for his development.

Dont know.. hard call, the ideal way is to send him down to ligia/ahl but if they do that they dont ice the best team possible heightening the chance of blowing another season and wasting a year of everybody in their primes and at the same time if they dont send him down they risk rushing the player and not reaching his potential..... really hard call for the management at this stage hope he's going to be sent down jets aren't cup contenders right now

I don't think the Jets mind having his contract expire in three years. They currently have no UFA or RFA contract negotiations that summer. If he has performed well, he would already be making $2-3M with bonuses so the additional cost that summer might be easily absorbed.
