Caufield will be very good but I think Broberg will be very good as well

There were multiple teams that probably should have grabbed Caufield but as a Habs fan I'm glad that none of them did.

Why do people have such definite opinions about drafting??? Philip Broberg projects as a huge, top-pairing LHD with elite skating and puck-moving ability. Completely dominated at world juniors. Caufield looks like a good winger, if not a great one (if you can get over the fact that he is so tiny). Who really knows who will be better in the long run?

Ken Holland's house was a few minutes drive from the USNDT facility and he watched them play regularly. But he passed on all of them. What does that say?

I say FWIW, keep Broberg and let Caufield play in Montreal. Oilers need a top-pairing LHD when Klefbom's contract runs out . . . which will happen right as Broberg makes his NHL start in 3 years.

Oilers fans . . . remember when fans were so adamant about drafting Sam Bennett instead of Leon Draisaitl? None of us are scouts, so none of us know. Ken Holland, Keith Gretzky, and Pete Chiarelli have all drafted Stanley Cup-winning teams, so I trust their judgment . Though in Chiarelli's case, I do not trust his trading abilities !!
