You should change your name to Skip Bayless or Stephen A Smith with all these hot takes. I don't think anyone in their right mind would compare Hughes's talent level to Yakupov's. Yaks situation had a lot of variables in play there as well- language barrier, toxic organization, attitude issues, etc. Hughes does not have to deal with any of that.

He's also been horrible in the face off circle, they should keep him as a winger on the top line with hall and subban and zajac as a good defensive player that can win face offs

I agree I've said that on this site since day one that he should be moved to winger. Maybe not on the top line with Hall, because I think Hischier has earned that spot, but definitely on a wing with a more defensive minded C.

That 1st line is going to get manhandled.
