I'm worried about Benn waiving his clause more than DAL accepting. Not many cup contenders can afford his cap anyway, and he wouldn't waive his clause to go to a bottom feeder. I really don't want to sweeten the deal more considering I'm gambling also on taking him while he's showing signs of regression especially at his age and term/cap hit.

That's a hard pass from the Devils. If Hall is coming with an extension, he's fetching a bigger return than that. At the very least, the pick gets bumped up to 2020 and adding another pick/prospect.
