Georgiev isn't a back up, he's New Yorks next starter. You are going to have to spend a lot more than an AHL locked winger and goaltender

Is he? Hasn't Lundqvist played double the games Georgiev has?

That's this year, did you miss the part where I said next starter? Hank is 37 years old, he's the 2nd oldest starting goalie in the league and will at the least take a step back at the end of his contract. You are asking for a guy who put up a 9.14 SV% across 33 games on one of the worst teams in the league last year and can't even offer an NHL player or a decent pick?

Bracco is a good with a lot of potential, but far from elite. If he was he would have been called up as soon as Tavares was injured. Don't get me wrong the kid has promise but end of the day he is just a winger still in the AHL at 22

I’m just playing, I’ve seen him play a few times and obviously he put up a ton of pts in the AHL last season - I think the knock on him is his defensive play

Not saying they'd trade Georgiev, but the buzz seems to be shifting toward Shestyorkin as the Rangers' future starter.
