Please Optimize the lines JC

Created by: Kyle_Davidson
Team: 2019-20 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 23, 2019
Published: Oct. 23, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
They can only score from Doug Glatt’s office now, wherever that is.

Notes: 2 1st lines both get equal ice time.

3rd line has massive scoring upside.

Scratch David Kampf to get Perlini in a game.

Our defense without Murphy is again officially trash.

Have Lehner start the rest.

Kampf without a shadow of a doubt deserves to be in the lineup. The rest is interesting up front. McCoshen is a career AHL player, don't see him as a better fit then Gilbert or Holm and Holm is playing lights out in Rockford.

Another note: I didn’t expect the powerplay to be super good, but I also did not expect it to be this terrible. I think a lot of it has to do with Gus having some kind of confidence issue.

I would also be remiss to mention that JT has a secondary assist on a EN goal and a goal in which he got a lucky bounce, we need more out of him.

Perhaps I should clarify about Kämpf, I don’t mean to say that he is on the outside looking in. I consider this as more of a give Kampf a day off and give Perlini a chance to play a game. Kampf is not the player driving possession on the third line, so I think he is currently the easiest player to take out. Perlini is eventually going to get a game, and I couldn’t justify any other forward coming out.

Got it, just think Kampf out of 12 forwards is easily been in our top 6 so far this year. The kid is fearless and defensively a stud.

How dare you speak badly about franchise savior Ian McCoshen. IMO next Headman.

Assuming that they had to put Perlini in for a game who would you take out?

rolling eyes

On a serious note, have you seen Holm playing in Rockford? I think this kid is pretty special and deserves a shot.

Nylander to give him a rest. I fear, just historically speaking, although he's played a solid 2 games now he's such a streaky player we shouldn't count on him every game yet.

Fair enough, I really like what I’ve seen from him recently. He is actually playing responsible hockey and getting into scrums along the boards. Tonight he had an opportunity to shoot the puck from the middle of the ice, but was overthinking the situation and did nothing. That’s what I’ve seen as his biggest problem, but man when he makes the right play is it good (Cag’s goal)_

I’ve seen that he’s put up good stats, but I would be hard pressed to call him a kid at age 27.

I don’t have access to RFD games, but from my understandings he is on a pair with Boqvist and if that’s true the I think they should keep that.

Well 20 somethings are kids to a 40 something smile Maybe he's our new Gus? Gus isn't playing well at all.

Yes, he's been paired with Boqvist until Boqvist's injury. I really liked what I saw from both Holm and Gilbert in the preseason, can't understand why we hang on to Koekko who's a serviceable 7th man like Dahlstrom but being so deep with prospects use this time (murphy out) to see what some of these guys have.
