Seems like making 4 deadline trades would be tricky especially since those are all higher up trades and not just an AHLer for Future Considerations or something similar. I'd say Poile would be able to swing one of Kreider or Palmieri and that trade would involve sending Smith the other way. I think that's a smart move as to not disrupt too much team chemistry. Oleksiak makes sense if Dallas is doomed to miss the playoffs. Otherwise I doubt they deal him to a division rival. Honestly, Nashville already has a lot of strong pieces already to make a cup run. They may only need to add one decent piece and some depth.

I was trying to go outside the box a bit with Oleksiak (strengthen d and toughness) and Palmieri (instead of a hall trade) - I still had some cap after those and the Smith exodus, so I went with Kreider too. And then next year, sign the better of Kreider or Granlund. But yeah, I'd be happy with Smith + either Kreider or Palmieri as well. I think they need one more top 6 left wing to be a real threat. And I know Poile likes making trades for players with term, so maybe Palmieri/Oleksiak are more realistic in this scenario

Fair enough! Btw Granlund > Kreider IMO.
