Hall is not a C. He’s a winger now, I’m not a devils fan but we also haven’t seen hall at C for a while and I don’t think he would be a great c.

Solution could be moving wild bill to 1c and glass to 2c, then maybe slot hall as 1LW Pacioretty moves down.

With Hall playing the LW exclusively since juniors, making him a C wouldn't make sense. You could sign him as a winger, and move March or Smith down the 3rd line, and move Glass up to the 2nd line C, but then you'd need a 3rd line C, with no money to speak of. Also, just having 300k would make a short term injury very dangerous.

VGK's advantage since its inception is having 4 dangerous lines. Top loading makes a team easier to play against (ask Edmonton, the bottom 2 lines have 0 goals this year in 57 shots, and this team doesn't have a McDavid to pick up the slack).

As others have mentioned, Hall is not a center. The good news for you is I think you've drastically overpaid him. On the open market, I think he would get 10 a year (I actually think that's way too much too). In Vegas with the taxes and all that, I would think 8.75 would be enough. Mark Stone is the better player. I don't think Hall would get as much as Stone in Vegas.
