Scramble Ramble

Created by: HabsFan33
Team: 2019-20 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 23, 2019
Published: Oct. 23, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Just combining some different scenarios seen on this site. May not be close to ideal but Bergevin could use this as a shot in the arm to the team. Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Montreal hasn't had high talent up front for a long time. We have good players but not high-end talent. Mete is not a first pairing d-man and never will be. But he does have value and can be an asset to Flyers in a lesser role.

What!

No way im doing Hot start ,plenty potential ,23 Y/O Drouin for overpayed 2nd line center/We already have a logjam at center, 26 almost 27 RNH

We dont need hall, in the next two years we have Domi,Gally,KK,Poheling,Mete to pay ?

Ghost Trade is Ok, I dont want to give Mete though, I think he has good Potential

Meh Agree to Disagree. Im also someone who would move Price in a heartbeat. 11m for a goalie is just way to much. Imagine if price was only making about 7 mil how much options that would open up.

IMO these trades make MTL a LOT better.

Poehling wont be better than Hall.

Mete might get to Ghosts level but who knows.

Domi and Danault are both better C than RNH.
Besides, Drouin is younger and will have a better career than RNH.

Unless Hall agrees to an extension, no way Habs give that up.

Also, Habs Cup 'window' only starts when Primeau takes over as their starter in 2-3 years. Price plays backup or splits regular season duties with Primeau until traded, is bought out or retires.
