Description

With Rantanen not being out the rest of the season, Avs fans around the world share a sigh of relief. This team being on the ups at 7-1-1 are already ready to make a move to strengthen up the forward depth and grow chemistry for a playoff run. Hall, a name being thrown around left and right in trade rumors is most likely going to end up in Edmonton. What if the Avs get in on this trade talk? Sakic offered Panarin a very similar contract to the one he received in NY (if not better). He’s willing to add another top 6 forward to this team, and now with Mikko out a while it’s going to look more and more likely every game Mikko misses.

Conditional 4th round pick depending on whether Hall signs or not sounds so weird...I mean, such a meaningless asset while the condition is for one of the best players in the market lol.

Why is everybody panicking? Week-to-week! Holy crap. He'll be back in 1-2 max. And then what?
These prospects you've listed in the trade and picks won't get Hall. Even if they did, I don't think it's worth mortaging some future assests for a short-term gain, especially with the Avs high-end talent coming up and will required star dollars as well. Build from within and they'll succeed. I'm glad Panarin chose NYR. The Avs did not need that.
