Maybe just trade 1 for now, injuries happen, having strong defense no matter the injury is a major advantage for a top team in the league to maintain that status. Also, retaining 4 mil of salary for a couple of 3rd rounders sucks.

Ristos not on the trade block any more, surely they can do a lot better for a player they want to keep and wants to stay here. Scandellas the weakest link.

They have 2 or 3 guys are the AHL level that are NHL ready (Borgen, Gilmore and Nelson).

I have not seen any reports that Risto now wants to stay.
