The only real trades is proposed is the Ceci trade, which Leafs wont do because they need Ceci more than then 5th, and Hutchie trade but you can rule that out once the Leafs decline the Tampa trade.

Dumba trade is not even very close. So you give Johnsson and a player who can not break into you lineup for a top notch RHD while is clearly a number 1 d man on a team freindly contract.

Dreaming and wishing just does not get it done.

Are you saying we should get more for Rasanen? There's a chance he doesn't even sign with the Leafs. Why not throw in an extra pick on Tampas end to make the deal better? The same logic is there for EDM and Puljujarvi. He might not sign and they should get assets. Dermott honestly is expendable if we have Sandin and Liljegren and also sign Muzzin. As for Dumba, I honestly don't know his value at the moment but would shoot for him or Spurgeon. Would consider throwing in more assets like a 1st round to get them. I am also relying a bit on the poor management of the Wild to take a deal that is not in their favor.

If anyone has any other ideas for trades for a decent RHD, I am all ears. Maybe try and get Mayfield and Dal Colle from the Islanders? Or Hamonic from Calgary?
