I don't see Toffoli taking that much of a pay cut.

Carry forward your two 7 year signings, then do a roster for 2023-24. The Kings will have serious cap troubles at that point. Assuming Lafreniere and Turcotte work out and are elite, and that Vilardi and Kupari are good but not exceptional, then you're looking at around $20 million for bridge contracts between those 4 guys that season in addition to the $39 million you already have under contract. That's $60 million allocated to 8 players with a lot more good players that will still need contracts.

The Kings can afford one, but not both of those UFAs.

With Quick, Brown, Martinez, and Toffoli off the books by then. That'll be 19,175,000 freed up for those players plus with the cap ceiling raising that'll be enough for bridges for those guys. Brown will probably be resigned around 3m and MAYBE Martinez too. If the Kings don't sign Hall then there's nothing to worry about even with signing Krug. This free agency coming up is the best for left wingers in the next couple years. That's why I picked Hall. They might be able to trade for a good cheaper left winger in 2-3 years.
