Who would you want from the Islanders for Gourde?

So is this trade to change the character of the team, or to make Gourde disappear because you don’t like his play? If it’s the latter, we should be going for a prospect. If it’s the former, we should be looking for pieces that compliment the roster. Kreider and Toffoli seem to be names that have been thrown around recently. I don’t know how Fiala or Koivu fit anywhere on this roster. Both are having very bad seasons and we don’t necessarily have space for them on the roster considering we can’t even fit our prospects who look deserving right now.

Fiala is having a bad career actually, Koivu is actually having a solid year, he just isn't a number 2 center at this point of his career he should be on a 3rd or 4th line shutting down other teams top lines, he is still fantastic defensively.

In real life X plus Y = 1 .. its not X = 1 minus Y .. optimize BOTH variables not try to optimize the roster that is fixed now. A fixed bunch of deadbeats .. on roster now there are several.. 4 is over under on current roster that needs to change .. and I will NOT relent until it happens as it in best interest for Cup
