Fabbri and Sanford just haven’t been very good. With Thomas and Kyrou still recovering from injuries and Tarasenko possibly out, it might be worth a swing at one of those two players.

Why has Fiala been such a bust the last couple of seasons? He was such a promising offensive player a couple years ago.

Maybe the Bortuzzo injury in the playoffs, but he had a 48 point season the year after so probably not. I still think he’s really talented.

I heard Ottawa is near max contracts and cant do another trade where they acquire a player for pick/prospect.

Fabbri has dropped off so much that I think Blues decline that.

Those 2 are the kind of young players that Minny needs to hold onto. Whatever they’d get in return would not really be worth it for them.

OTT has 48/50 contracts according to capfriendly so they should be ok to make this trade
