Pass on Eriksson Ek, Joel trade as is do not need a 4th line center. Where does he fit with Middlestadt and Cozens next year.Samuelsson is going to be a beast . His coach at Western Michigan cannot say enough about him . His coach is a former NHL player and coach and calls him the best he has coached. Would add a 6th at best

Nemeth was added in the offseason and Yzerman traded Pope for Biega so I really don't think Detroit adds another defenseman unless he is young. In case you haven't noticed Detroit isn't really a hot spot for free agents so that makes Scandella a cap dump from at least from Detroit's point of view. So I just don't see Detroit giving up a 3rd to have Scandella dumped on them.

I really like Samuelsson. It would be a hard decision if I was MN. It would be an easy no if I was BUF.
