The reality is that Seabrook's play is so poor compared to his salary and signed for so long that you would need to probably attach Boqvist with him to be rid of his contract.

Everyone wants that to be the case, but it's just unlikely that a team would be able to fit Seabrook's salary under their cap both now and long term. The only way we move Seabrook is to trade him for another bad contract, and there's no chance that Boqvsit is the difference between Ex. Bobby Ryan, Eriksson, Quick, etc.

Its better than having him play IMO. IDC if he takes up 90% of our cap for the next 20 years. He does not deserve ice time.
