Blues are still in position to win it all. Don't expect them to sell, but to buy. And moving Petro for that package is selling.

Petan has become the Leafs version of Charles Hudon of Habs. He’s included in every trade and nobody wants him. Lol

I know. Petan for Hudon. Perfect.

As for the big trade. No from Blues hurts their chance to repeat.

pietrangelo and barrie are both UFAs. pietrangelo is unquestionably better, but after this year the trade essentially becomes Nylander for Kyrou. That's a massive gap that isnt made up from the difference between pietrangelo and barrie for one year. Hard no from the leafs.
