The 1st is the big return. That’s about the kind of return they’d get at the deadline for a UFA to be. They are not going to get much more than that.

That looks like a repeat to me. ??‍♂️

I wouldn't say they are plugs. Especially Sanford.

Coming from a bigger Blues fan than myself, what would you be willing to give up for Kreider?

The only thing that worries me is that Sanfords underlying stats aren't that great.. otherwise the 1st plus Sanford and maybe a 3rd rounder wouldn't be a bad price (don't care for the oft-injured fabbri)

the thing that the rangers really need is a clean Tom Wilson type of prospect.. big guy that can skate, has some skill, loves to take the body, etc...

A player they would probably love to have is Kostin, but I would understand the reluctance to trade him for Kreider.

But calling Fabbri a plug is an insult to plugs....

As a rangers fan I actually dont hate this return... getting a 1st is the most important priority to me. Although i dont really know fabbri and sanford that well.

I think Kreider would fit well on the blues.

I would personally look into getting something out of a couple draft picks and maybe someone like Bortuzzo if NYR can use him on their bottom pairing.

Kostin would be a no go for the Blues for a rental. I think the closest thing you could look into getting is Joshua. Right now he is a clean up guy who looks like he could top off at a 2C. That is a little bit higher an expectation for him, but 3C he could fit in well as a hard hitter.

Bortuzzo is a solid right hand D only thing for us is we have Parayko Pietrangelo and Faulk on the right side lol. So he is the odd man out at this point.
