Left shot but has been playing RW. Seems like a perfect fit. Kuhlman is an NHL player. Zboril is NHL ready. Maybe a change of scenery helps Senyshyn. 1st round pick in a deep draft and Backes because he needs to be included.

I’d do that. Not sure Minny would.

Ducks would have more interest in Miller than Moore.

Either Miller or Moore need to go, preferably Moore. Maybe Moore to the Jets?

Moore to the Jets would make more sense. They’d probably want to do player for player as oppose to pick. Appleton or Spacek maybe.

Swap Seny for JFK and i think Minny might consider it.

Not a bad trade, its a lot for the bruins to throw in, but to take Backes' contract and for a good player in zucker its probably worth is... (Any shot the 1st could become a second? lol)

If they take Backes the pick must be a 1st.
Zucker also has a nice contract and would become a core member of the Bruins.

Fair enough, as I was typing out what I thought the trade value was for each piece of this deal I realized that a 1st makes sense, especially because it will hopefully be a low first ( 25-31 range )

Not sure that deal is enough quality for Minny. I think moving Backes with 0 retention is going to cost something like a Zboril. So really the trade breaks down to 1st + Seny + Khulman. Looking at it from Minny's view (being a Bruins fan), I don't think that package interest me to move Zucker.

Senyshyn, Zboril, Kuhlman, Backes, 1st for Zucker

I could be wrong as I do not know Boston prospects... but this seems like two first round "busts" (I know they are only 22, but they don't seem to be doing much even at the AHL), a never was, a no-retention-albatross contract and a 25ish pick for Zucher.

Yes, we'd have more interest in Miller, but we'd only be interested in a defenseman who could take the ice tomorrow night, not sometime in the future when (theoretically) recovered from injury. We have Lindholm and Manson in the shop.

I know that the season is still young but if Lindholm and Kase are out past November 30, we can kiss this year goodbye, I don't care WHAT the Blues did last year.

You are correct, you are wrong.

Zboril - NHL ready, but no where to play in Boston. Not sure he has the top pairing upside he was projected, but still a guy with 2nd pairing upside.

Senyshyn - NHL ready, but for some weird reason Sweeney & Co have a fascination with him playing a defensive role in Providence. When given opportunities with better talent, he's produced.

Khulman - Calling him a never was is kind of a dick thing to say. For example, you are a never was in regards to the NHL, I'm am a never was. Kuhlman just played his first year of pro hockey last year. Prior to that he was the Captain of the NCAA champions, where he also was named to the all-tournament team and tournament MVP. He's a speedy 3rd line winger that gives 110% every shift.

^There are some good pieces here, but not the level that Minny would be looking for.

As a side, I'm not much of a Zucker fan. He is fine, but Wild fans treat his value like he was a superstar.

With Senyshyn and Zboril I wanted to stress the 1st round part more than the bust. That's why I put "busts" in quotes. I also said that I don't know about them but looking at numbers they don't seem to be very high end. 3rd/4th liner, 3rd pair types aren't what you hope for out of pick 13 overall. I do not know where they will fall, but they don't seem like much (by numbers only).

To your other point... It seems very much of a trade made up of quantity rather than quality. I was just throwing labels in to point out that even though there are 5 pieces... there isn't a gem or a real target in the lot. Usually when you trade an established player for picks/prospects one of the prospects is the key. Even the pick will most likely be closer to a 2nd rounder than a sure shot (I said 25ish). A lot of people think that a 1st is a 1st is a 1st... and it very much isn't.

I might be the only bruin fan on here that thinks this but i dont want zucker. I want a true right shot right wing. i dont want a left winger. i dont want a left shot right wing. i want a real right shot right wing. I think if we needed a left wing ide go for it but we dont have need at left wing.

Weird, if I was going to stress 1st rounders I'd say former 1st rounders, not "busts"

I mean Minny is basically about to go into a mini rebuild so I think young controllable assets are targets. I would say though that this package lacks that pieces that the rest is build around.

When a team is re-building like the Wild appear to be, quantity (mid-range prospects) + 1st round pick for a 2nd liner is pretty good business.
