The Avs don't need to go all in this year. Be patient, let some more development happen. Let our new depth get used to playing with each other/the rest of the team. Draft another 1st rounder this 2020 draft and let the newly-drafted prospects progress in their development. This will give us a good scope into where we stand and what our options are. Sakic is the king of patience. We're trading 4th rounders and 5th rounders for depth this TDL. Yeah it's boring but if you're bored, aside from the Anaheim game, NHL.com has some phenomenal Avalanche highlights to watch in the meantime repeatedly.

If Devils are going to trade Hall, it'll probably be a sign-and-trade so Mark Stone trade is an example of package the Avs have to give up.
