It's true nobody will replace his production it's time to bring up Kostin and see what he can do. If the Blues make the playoffs, and Tarasenko is set to return in April, (barring any other big injuries) this could actually be a benefit cap wise. I'm not saying the injury helps the Blues but with him on LTIR the Blues could feasibly bring in a high dollar player before the playoffs start and then bring Tarasenko off the LTIR with no issue cap wise. The Hawks did the same thing with Kane before.

Taylor Hall per chance? He's not a RW but him with O'Reilly and Perron could possibly be the best 2nd line in hockey

Hall would play left side, but good thing is Perron has played RW. Kostin or Kyrou move up is just as good. As for this forum right here I would go ahead and say he is butt hurt for Blues taking O'Reilly for nothing.

I don't think we'd actually get Hall but I don't see Kyrou being as good of a chamce right now. However, I think Kostin, not Thomas, would fill the void best if we are going to try internally first. I like Thomas, but don't think he is the best fit for that line.

I meaning it's just as good because obviously he wont be as good but we aren't giving up core players.

Doesn't anybody else think the reference in the Team Explanation is to Ristolainen?

Yeah, but we thought if we don't acknowledge it that it will go away lol.

I get it. But at this point how often will they actually use some young core players? Doesn't seem likely

I was just about to ask if anyone read the explanation. RD to RW isn't exactly subtle.
