That’s hilarious, I had made one exactly like this and tried posting but wasn't logged into my account. Only difference I had was a 2nd instead of a 1st!

When I saw "replacing Tarasenko" I was hoping it wasnt clickbait. Turns out it was. Granted, there is no "true" replacement for Tarasenko, but this isnt the way to go.

First off Kings would block the number. Second I think Kostin or Kyrou coming up is good enough because if you look at it, I mean we have so much depth it might hurt, but it should be fine if Kyrou or Kostin can do well moving up.

Oh, no! How serious is the injury?

Kings would add a sixth or seventh to get that first.

I respectfully disagree. I think Los Angeles would be happy to have another first -- look who we got for the last one. And I think Blake is interested in moving Toffoli, not re-signing him.

I mean just because of Fabbri. A late first doesn't really look good in 2020, but agree to disagree. I think Blues would take it, but Kings would want more.

Boy, if we're offered that, I hope you're wrong.

The Blues are not trading a 1st for a rental.

What about Jordan Kyrou and the 2020 second for Toffoli and a 2020 fifth?

I'm with OldNYIfan. If Toffoli can get any 1st round pick, I think the Kings do it. They're specifically interested in 2020 so they can turn around as fast as possible once Turcotte, Vilardi, Kupari, and Kaliyev are all regulars on the roster and Doughty/Kopitar still have a year or two of good play left in them. Surrounding the to-be core with other first round talent as fast as possible is a priority for LA.

If STL needs a Tarasenko replacement, I've got one for you: James Neal! nod

A 1st and a prime prospect should do the trick! cheers

That's most likely worse than giving up a late 1st

The time for St.Louis to consider a replacement trade would come if the Blues are struggling to score and are falling out of playoff contention. Ideally, the club will first consider the farm to make up the loss of a Tarasenko’s offence. It costs the club nothing.

Any trade would be a stop gap measure, and St. Louis wouldn’t squander their first. It would be a trade to fill the bottom six forwards with their current ring wingers advancing up the lines.
