You sign Kreider for 6 and what deangelo takes 3-5mil.....you’ll have 12 roster spots with Dermott signing let’s say 3-4 you’ll have under 10 mil left with 13 roster spots taken. This team can’t survive without moving multiple contracts, you can’t even think about signing barrie or Muzzin at this point

I like the trade as well... It would be really difficult for Gorton to turn this trade down.

Haha ive seen a few similar trades and everyone either loves it or hates it... as a rangers fan i think its mostly fine just maybe add a pick or two coming back if you're gonna include all 3 players (plus an extension)

I do think its a lot going to toronto, especially since those are probs our 3 main trading chips so idk if we'd get more selling them separately but I dont really know Nylander's value - people either seem to love him or hate him lol

Someone makes a rangers team with this trade- fans of every team say its highway robbery on the rangers part
Someone makes a leafs team with this trade - fans of every team say its an overpayment by the rangers
