Description

Seabrook goes back to the man that got him 3 Stanley Cups in Joel Quenneville. The unprotected first is a risk but it is a risk I am willing to take. I think we are gonna be a really good team next year. Sikura is a good depth piece. Krys still has potential to be a 5 or 6 dman at the NHL level. In return, Chicago gets two depth players on expiring, bad contracts. Hunt could play in our bottom 6 or the AHL.

Coughing up a 1st to rid the team of this albatross is not the answer. The Blackhawks are not the Leafs. First, Seabrook will want to leave Chicago. Second, the Hawks will most likely receive another toxic contract back. Third, a deal is easy to get down if the Hawks retain some salary.
