Based on reputation alone, I doubt the Leafs would be interested in Watson. If there was a Nashville bottom-6 player that fit with the Leafs, it would be Colton Sissons. Sissons is more of a third-liner than fourth liner, and can play either RW or C. Leafs aren't giving up Kerfoot and I think the deal would need to be bigger if they were to deal Kapanen. The Leafs could give up Johnsson, but that would obviously mess up your Arizona trade. Between Crouse and Sissons, I think Sissons is the better skater and more well-rounded player. Yes, the Leafs need a better back-up, but Kuemper's new extension that kicks in next season makes him less of an appealing target. Jack Campbell in LA may be the more appealing fit to the Leafs. Guhle was just sent back to the minors by the way. I can't imagine any scenario where the Leafs would trade a top-4 D for a defenseman that can't even stick with this league.

Ceci's contract is expiring end of this season and so is Tyson Barrie's - and the Leafs are pinned very tight against the cap
